In order to be "pop", their albums would have to be platinum or something like it. "Pull" was sooooo not a platinum album! (Brandon says he doesn't even think it went GOLD!) Pop = popular. I remember YOU saying that once, right? The drums aren't all ... exactly the same. In every song.

I don't think success has anything to do with genre... if so that would mean that dream theater is pop (there was an article recently about 'score' going platinum).

anyway, good riddance to pop/glam metal! the only redeeming qualities they usually have are the solos. now those, i miss. Ah, the days when muscians had to actually play well to be well received.

(and i don't know that racer x is pop metal... although i do usually just skip straight to their solos just like glam metal... hmmm... has anyone else here realized that if you fast forward to approximately 2 minutes on any vocal racer x song , you're at the solo?)
