I Miss the Pop Metal... do you?

Hi, I`m only listening old pop metal (warrant, firehouse, old Bon Jovi and extreme stuff, Skid Row , Ratt, Dokken, Fifth Angel, Europe, Racer X (I know they are playing now...but where is bruce???)..... and i really miss them. Please Bring the glam metal back!!! I`m bored of hip hop, rap, pretty girls and boys singing soft songs.
Am I alone in this???

I dont know that Racer X is pop metal but I say leave it dead. I already went though it was and it was awful then. It's everybit the same amount of fluff that pop music is now.

It is not worth having to hear the 50 ****ty bands, to have just one good one.

A lot of those bands are making a come back, and that is always good news!!!

some don't like it, that's fine to each his own, but as long as there are people like us that love the genere the music will always have an audience!

I sometimes enjoy pulling the old glam metal out and listening to it, but I know everything changes.

this is great. i'm in a side project now thats "80s rock". in the vein of ratt, skid row, warrent, van halen, whitesnake , scorpians...and well... the list goes on.

i can't tell you how good it feels to take a break from metal and so many people trying to be SO tuff all the time. it feels great to be able to play a solo with a smile, kick high in the air and let the cheese just flow.

My friends and I used to joke about having an 80s metal themed resturant.
We would serve stuff like Scorpi-onion Rings, and Motley Stew.

Unfortunately parts of those bands are still playing. Some of them even share the band name with other ex members. I think there were 2 Ratts touring a year or so ago. One had the original singer and the other was (I think ) the rest of the band except the singer and the guitar player who died.
