If there's no Jemsite restriction

If there's no jemsite-imposed restriction, how many threads do you think people should impose upon themselves before saying 'okay - that's enough'?

Re: If there's no Jemsite restriction

As I said in the other "polls"

Dude, practice what you preach!

I dont see why someone would want to impose a restriction regarding how many polls are posted.

What I found amazing is that YOU, who are asking for this, posted 3 different polls about the EXACT same thing.

RCB, relax it's all done in irony and just a bit of fun.

Kenny is just making a point that there are some polls on this site which atre a bit annoying to some. I totally get it.

Everyone finds certain posts on jemsite a bit annoying sometimes, I recall a thread you started implying a similar thing, no?

Re: If there's no Jemsite restriction

I didnt imply a similar thing. I just noticed we have a more juvenile audience and that the averago post has lost depth. Just that, Im not a nazi asking for people to be banned or restricted in their ability to speak their minds.

Some post my not be my cup of tea, but I would never ask for thread to be close of for someone to be banned unless he is incurring in repeated personal attacks.

As a matter of fact, I generally found people that wants limits imposed upon themselves or the others rather pathetic (nonetheless..... I wouldnt ban them ).

Now, since I dont see the point in replying the same thing in 3 different polls about the same, I suggest to merge them in just one.

LOL That's why this 3 thread thing is funny IMO....

It's a non-agressive way of making a point.

I get the idea, and even though I think its funny way to make a point, and even though I can understand why he is pissed off, Im just against the idea of forcing people to do or stop doing something.

Lets put it this way, if kenny points out that some users post a lot of polls and that most fo them are silly, well than you can or can not agree with that.

What I dont like is asking for restrictions or bans. Its just a personal opinion.

People, why get worked over a couple of polls? I don't understand that. Certain polls may not be very informative, but what does it matter? If you don't like those polls, don't click on them.

I think he's worried about the time being spent on polls, by members, when it could be spent on meaningful, informative dialog. Who knows???

Myst, you are a crazy person. That would never work.
