Re: If you were

What are the conditions of the deal? Any guitar made from scratch and marketed with huge royalties as your signature model, replacing their existing premier guitarist, OR.... well you can buy two normal production guitars from us at dealer cost.

There are loads of levels of endorsement deal, what sort did you have in mind?

Re: If you were

This is a tough one!

I believe I would go with Fender, ESP or Tokai. If I wanted a guitar suited better for metal I would go with Ibanez and choose RG body. I believe ESP or Tokai would make me a signature model I would love. It would be a Fender Strat body and neck but it would look like Jackson PC1 so I guess ESP is the one that would make my dream guitar and sell it. ESP is already making vintage style Strat replicas and they have M-I and M-II.

Re: If you were

ESP without a doubt - the only company that will do anything you can think of.

With all the other brands you'd be stuck with getting a modified existing model and with ESP your imagination will be the only limitation.

Just click on any of the artist on the side and be amazed.

Re: If you were

it would have to be Ibanez, ive played loads of guitars and the feel of Ibanez stuff is spot on... plus you could specify your own fine details !

anyone interested in a Jaden Rose signature model ?

yeah I agree. Their custom shop is insane, you can make basically anything.

Although my own signature Ibanez would be pretty damn awesome as well.

Re: If you were

Doesn't really matter does it? If you're going to promote someone's guitars, don't you think that they would make one to your specs?

I think Jono hit the nail on the head - the conditions of the deal - endorsements are all about money.

Hands down the best custom shop in the world! The ESP Custom Shop lets you make anything you can imagine, as most do. ESP guitars are just the greatest! I know everyone or most people on here has an Ibanez and loves it/them. I love Ibanez too, but ESP's custom shop beats all. I'm a huge fan of the RG series and ESP's MH series. They both feel great!

You must have missed the memo that said Ibanez/Fender/Gibson/PRS will only modify an existing model for their endorsees so if all you want is a moded RG/S/strat/tele.....

ESP will make you anything you can imagine, come to think of it ESP will do that for private people too but you'll need some deep pockets.

I do realise that this being Jemsite and all the vast majority of people here will be mighty content with a moded/jemified RG so this poll is moot...

That's why I raised the question. Besides ESP also do endorsement deals that run to the extent of "you can have LTDs at dealer cost price", Not everyone gets the carte blanche signature model treatment, even at ESP!

Would you pick a handful of cost price LTDs over a bespoke Ibanez RG hand made to your requirements in the USA Ibanez custom shop?

Sorry boss, I still don't see the memo from their CEO. I saw what you posted though

But, since this is "la la land" and I am a super rock god who's going to "get endorsed," any one of the companies listed above will make me whatever I'd like to have.

BTW, I voted for First Act because you could pick up my signature model in any WalMart/KMart/Target and they all play the same, right off the shelf.
