Joe stump Vs Yngwie Malmsteen

No-one in america had heard of Yngwie before 1983 though.

Yngwie can't rock out like Stump which is 1 of the reasons i prefer Stump. You can't nod your head to Yngwies **** cos he hasn't got any rhythm or groove. Plus he way too self-indulgent. For a dude with that much talent & perfect pitch, he should've done more than just 5 good albums.

Yngwie hasn't got any rhythm or groove at all. You can't nod your head to any of his stuff & i've got all his albums. He has parts where you can vibe off of, but not full songs let alone albums!!!!!!!!!!

Stump has got a great groove. He got that from being a New Yorker. NYC & London are the best 2 cities in the world without a doubt.

The clubs. He used to play all the ones in new york including jazz clubs & they have a certain vibe that is impossible to recreate anywhere else apart from London where there is a cool vibe too, but more hard.

Come on man that is a Huge understantement, most of Stumps rythyms/grooves are based on Yngwie's anyway so it's a pretty 1 dimensional statement to make. I don't wanna argue on this subject as I am definatively right

Stump's grooves are from listening to Hendrix cos that's the only thing i like about his playing, his rhythm was always great & sexy. I hate his playing but his voice & his rhythm were great.

Stumps only 'sexy' grooves are when he does a blatent tribute track to Hendrix, which may i add Malmsteen does/did on many an album . His standard neo-classical speed metal grooves are straight out of Yngwie's book.

Actually his neoclassical grooves are straight out of Bach & Paganini's book. Yngwie didn't invent the harmonic minor scale as far as i know.
