Two words: Chrome Hardware...but the flashy finish is nice as well.

I owned a 1200 once,the deepest most beautifully coloured paint i ever had on a guitar!
I will have an S painted that colour one day. Candy apple red makes anything look good to me though.

Candy Apple is a striking finish and HAS to be seen in person. pics just don't do justice.

The 1000 does have a certain charm to me, though. It's certainly a cool looking guitar. But I prefer something with a bit more of a 'special' look over 'just' a black guitar.

I have both but in color prefer the JS 1200ca.

Typically I'll gig with the 1200 and use the 1000 as my backup guitar but a few shows I've played only the 1000.

I have to say, as much as I love my 1200, a white 1000 or a cool metallic blue/green would rock my world.
