I wouldn't cross the street to urinate on MY mother if she was on fire... So you see it's not necessarily a Mother-In-Law thing...

Mine is nice and old, hitting senility very hard, poor, in very bad health, laden with issues and lives 125 miles away. So we're cool!!

My mother in law is a wonderful woman who makes me a half dozen (at least) rhubarb pies when I'm over to visit. She spoils me rotten. She thinks the sun shines out my bottom, which of course it does She's the kind of lady who tells her daughter how lucky she is to have "caught" me, and thanks me for marrying her lovely daughter at least a few times on every visit And, as she lives in Roscommon town and I live in South Jersey, we're about 4 thousand miles apart.

I have no issues here

I love my mother inlaw, but it started out ROUGH.

One night I was working with my father in law on a vehicle. She came outside and asked if we wanted a sandwich. We said sure.
She brings him a really nice sandwich with ham, tomato, mayo, mustard, lettuce.

She hands me a sandwich that was made from the 2 nubs of the loaf (The ends).

I figured, hell she must have run out of bread. Later I go in the house and see the bread on the counter, and there is a WHOLE LOAF!!!!

She reached to the back of the bag to give me the nub. I almost pissed my pants laughing.

Where is the "She's a good broad" option? I wouldn't boner her, but she's cool.
Maybe because she doesn't speak much English yet and I dont speak much Spanish so she cant bust my balls too much. Plus she brings breakfast Sunday mornings and isnt above helping my wife do yard work or clean the house.

I think "I would cross the street to urinate on her if she was on fire " is actually a good option. If one doesnt urinate on her, she would be burnt to death. So you dont need "She's a good broad" option.
