Now that NAMM 2007 has passed and we have an idea what is to come for new models in 2007, what do you think this will do to the demand or value of previous
Ibanez models?
Do you think the older Jems, RG's, J-customs, etc. will increase in value or decrease based on demand?
For me, I think the demand will at least go slightly up for older models in the near future because of the new releases, their availability, and price. Need to consider where the product is made too: MIJ vs MIK.
I would love to own the new RG 2007 and Jem 20th, but realistically I don't want to blow a hole in my wallet and I already have an RG550. The new
Ibanez Jem JEM77VBK is nice looking to me since it has the vine. But I don't want another black guitar at this time.
Would like to see what you all think. If I read Rich's NAMM report correctly, there's no official price increase from Ibanez as of yet, but the MIJ has increased? (reference:
http://www.ibanezrules.com/namm/2007/index.htm) Some may think they did increase the price without an announcement.
