+1, it would've been nice if it replaced the usual cursive JEM logo at the headstock

I didn't like it before, in part because Vai's name was put up in front of what seemed (and turned out) to be planet Earth. I really didn't know what to make of that. But it turned out to have something to do with better wood choices for manufacturing guitars, by Ibanez. That makes it suck less, but it still sucks. lol I mean, like someone said in another thread; it makes it look like a toy.

But it doesn't matter much. Because even without the logo it would still be a missed opportunity, I feel.

If you don't like it, use sandpaper, and stop complaining. And yes, it's a hardtail JEM, get over it. Not everything with six strings needs a double locking trem system.

This is a thread about whether you like the logo or not, and you are complaining about people complaining about the logo?

I don't think the design of the logo is well balanced. There's no visible I to balance the V... from what I remember.

It makes the guitar look cheap and nasty. Maybe better suited to a Fisher Price toy guitar
