Queensryche rip-off sound alike yes or no?

Crimson Glory very funny video. Cheese city warrior get up. I think they sound alot like Queensrych what do you think?

At that time every singer wanted to sound like Geoff Tate. These guys were one of the better Queensryche "rip offs" though. There were some real horrible ones like "Agent Steele" if you can remember that one lol.

actually, crimson glory were around before queensryche under the name beowulf. they released a very hard to find EP in 1982 under that name. they changed the name to crimson glory just after signing a record deal and then released "trancendence". unfortunatley, they never had much more than a cult following.

if you are look for a queensryche sounding band check out lethal now they sound like queensryche.

I actually got nostalgic watching the video because I remembered video taping it off of Headbanger's Ball when I was like 15 years old. I loved the song and of course freeze framed and slow-mo'd the hot chick lol...

They are not a Queensryche rip off!! they were coming up at the same time, they sound rather similar but Crimson Glory used to wear Iron masks and I would consider their music to be a bit more progressive than Queensryche's. I have all their albums and I think that both are exceptional bands and it's pointless to compare them!!!

Queensryche toured with Iron Maiden on the Powerslave tour in 1985-86. They were already well established and had one of the most sought after sounds in Metal.

Crimson Glory didn't even get a major label deal until 1988.

Sorry, dude, anyone who listens to that song is going to know from the first few bars that it's a Queensryche rip off. Granted, I think the band is very good for that genre of Metal, but they are a knock off of Queensryche, nonetheless.

I'm sure both are good bands. I am much more a Queensryche fan.
