Though, after buying the 550DY, there's no way i could afford another guitar.

I'd have a few, they are so unique. Ibanez sort of make dull guitars these days, though the new models this year are a little better than the last few years.

Depends - limited run re-issue like the RG20ths, then yes. Regular production model, then no.

yes but not if it's a period perfect reissue,

so it would need to be AANJ and perhaps others PuPs, & EdgePro. Titanium 5 piece neck, obviously.

I agree -- AANJ and Ti neck would be the way to go. It should have a Lo-Pro or Edge, though. I can live with the original pickups too.

No I would not. I think they are lovely, but nevertheless I wouldn't buy one.

It's probably not going to be made by Ibanez any time soon, seeing that they just re-issued the 550. At least, that's what I think.
