Satch started it all, and made me pick up a guitar.

Johnson for me. I love his tone and his feel for melody...

Satriani. Johnson is definitely talented but for sitting around listening I much prefer Satch.

How many times do we have to say it, Tom? LOL
I recommend any guitarist to check out E.J's instructional videos.

Re: Satch or Johnson???

Oh and Satch didn't start instrumental rock. Jeff beck was doing that back in the '60s. He didn't start anything to my knowledge.

Re: Satch or Johnson???

E.J. Always
better tone, better songwriting, closer resemblence to Ellen Degenerous,

and anyone who picked both is officially a girl, unless of course whoever said it was already a girl, in which case they stay being a girl but should stop being affraid to make a desicion

Re: Satch or Johnson???

Wow the two actually have equal votes. I think EJ is far better but on an Ibanez forum I thought satc would be ahead.
