Well,

Should guitars for playing metal be black? Or does the colour not matter?

Like anyone would really care if your in a hot Metal band and the crowd is going nuts, and then one of the douchebag headbangers looks up from his multiple headbanging, and realises your playing a pink guitar, and freaks out and jumps you on stage...

no one really cares what color the guitar is, its more about how it sounds....

i think black is a boring colour (say's a man who plays a vbk),ah but the vbk has bright green pups,and a green vine so looks rather cool.whereas a black guitar with black pups and dots for inlays does look rather crap.ive always been a fan of flashy looking guitars,neon especially.

Hells no!

If ya can't bring the metal with a bright neon Ibanez, ya can't really bring the metal at all.

Plus, the quota for black guitars was reached a long time ago. The manufacturers need to concentrate on pink and purple polka dots for a while. Now THAT would be metal.

but Metal has to be "Blazing" (flamboyant in French)

so flashing colors or complex motives are Metal !
