Re: Shredders that blues!!
I've seen video of Yngwie playing blues riffs, and he did it effortlessly. Awesome stuff, really. So, from this list, I'd say the Yngster

Yes he can do it but he has "slight" tendency to turn into shred after 5 seconds

Re: Shredders that blues!!
I would have to agree with the
Gary Moore
suggestions. The guys in the list can play their own type of blues but Gary can nail it superbly

Re: Shredders that blues!!
dime puts alot of bluesy stuff in his solos all the time. Hes uses blues in his rythems, like in cowboys from hell, the main thing is a blues scale!

Especially "Blue" from Alchemy...which is just mind boggling since theres no real blues in it and its still shred...

Re: Shredders that blues!!
The list is endless. None of the guys in the list has any blues roots. Oddly enough, I think Daimond Darrel is the most blues influenced of them all.
Shredders that can blues.... there are plenty OUTSIDE your list!
Just to name a few:
Blues Saraceno
, Kee Marcello,
Michael Lee Firkins
, Andy Timmons, Richie Kotzen
