stage left or stage right?

What side of the stage do you like to play on? Or if you dont ever play live, which side do you think you'd want?

I like stage right!

Re: stage left or stage right?

Same, I feel that when I'm watching bands play live I always tend to look stage right so that's where I'd want to be.

Re: stage left or stage right?

I never focus on a certain side as a spectator. That being said, for the past 5 years I have normally always been stage left with my band. You just kind of get used to your positions and stick with them it seems like hehe.

Center, of course.
If I cannot appear more than the vocalist, I just quit the band.

Left or right from whose perspective, yours or the audience?

Yeah me too My guitar neck is out of the others way on the right side and I feel much more comfortable. I'm always on the right side and luckily my guitarist Johnny prefers left so it's a perfect marriage

I don't care anywhere though, I just love to play live to be bothering it's left or right.

Re: stage left or stage right?

My first paying gig was in 1977. 31 years later I play exclusively on the LEFT side- (from the audience point of view).
I play here because I can watch my left hand and just glance up to see the whole stage.
I give most of the cues, so I get easier eye-contact from the left as the rest of the band is to my left- right over my headstock.

Center! I'm always the singer in my bands. I am a singer first and (sadly) a guitarist second!!

Oooh! Interesting poll for something apparently so meaningless. LOL!
I prefer right but I don't mind the left. I think it's because my head is used to turning left to see wtf is going on! LOL!

Re: stage left or stage right?

Left, for me. Not that I play in a band, but nevertheless.
