Question

Suhr Modern

I've been considering seeing about getting one of these guitars, but I just can't quite take to the looks of it and I'm a visual person, so to me looks are more important than tone. I'm more than capable of making any high end guitar sound bad.

So...stupid question but...

Does the lower horn on this guitar look "wrong" to you?

Re: Suhr Modern

Yeah mate. It does look strange to me.

I do have too say that my Suhr Standard is the best sounding and playing guitar i ever played on. That's not saying much if only played a few guitars, but that's not the case.

Why not go for a Standard? They got Gotoh floyds too.

Re: Suhr Modern

I'm with you on this one Jono. I'm a big fan of Suhr guitars, but I really don't like the look of the Modern. For me the shape is all wrong. Personally, I prefer the Standard. Plus if I was going to spend that kind of money on a guitar, I'd want to look good!

Re: Suhr Modern

I love what John Suhr has done with his guitars, but that "modern" does not work for me at all.

Re: Suhr Modern

So you're asking if a Suhr Modern looks odd on a website dedicated to guitars that have funny grips cut out of them?

Re: Suhr Modern

Wait, what's the difference between the "Huh?" option and the "No! What are you talking about? It looks great to me!" option?

Re: Suhr Modern

I am in love with the Modern.

I, too, found certain contours a bit odd looking at first. But it really grew on me.

Re: Suhr Modern

The "Huh" was ther for people who simply don't see that it's odd but don't think it's great either, a sort of "I'm indifferent to the shape of that guitar".

Or something. It just seemed too polarised to have just yes and no without some middle ground
