Don't feel bad, I still don't remember the darn thing.
For me if I don't pick it up off the record/transcribe it I can never remember the tunes for more than a year unless I come back to them sooner.

I remember some of the first tunes I learned were of the chord changes to Melissa and also Jessica by the Allman Brothers Band. My Dad use to be in an Allman Brothers Cover band so that stuff was always getting rammed down my throat.

Wow, that was a long time ago. I'm 90% sure it was Children of the Grave though.

Either a Rush, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Kiss song... I don't remember but maybe because I was in third grade at the time.

Re: The first song you learned to play on a guitar.

I played the whole of 'If You Want Blood You've Got It' by the mighty AC/DC. Best live album ever! (Well, for me anyway)

Then, when I actually got a guitar, I put the tennis racquet down and learned the Whole Lotta Rosie riff and, of course, the Smoke On The Water riff

Do I get a special prize for not actually ever hearing 'Stairway...' all the way through? I'm not a massive fan of the Zep' but the riff for 'Heartbreaker' is SO satisfying to play! Thanks Jimmy!
