Missed an Ibanez Jem DY at 1250 buy it now on Ebay... wanted a 7 string at the time. Argh really regret it now!

1. RG 550 LTD PN, back in the 94-95 it was hanging on the store for a while, I have some savings that could afford it actually, but I went cheap. So I spent on cheaper RG 250 at the end. Today... its hard to find a good condition 550LTD PN, all I could find only worn out PN with rusty hardware.

2. I had a friend who owned a black RG 550LTD with some red dimarzios on it. ( this is happened after I purchased the 250). I never heard that he was gonna sell that thing... I was out of town for a couple of weeks, and come back only to find out he sold it for a very cheap price.. I hate him ever since.

3. back in 2000, sold my 250, a washburn, a marshall combo amp, some pedals, made me held some healthy amount of cash. I was looking for my very first high end RG ( 5XX considered high end for me), and 520QS shows up, so i took it and no money left from that.
I loved the 520 QS, but months after somebody showed up selling his DY RG 570 mint condition for a real bargain price... yeah old school squared joint matching headstock DY 570.. how often can you see that..?
I already spent all the money on the 520QS.. so I can only cried.

4. my co-guitarist in the collage years had strange ibanez, it was green, 22 frets, MIJ, Edge, and.....triple coil on the bridge. We never knew what model was that. Near to graduation he offered me that guitar for a cheap price, but he did some mods on it, he put EMG and drilled some holes to make the input jack for the EMG. I was hesitated.
He ended up selling it to some other friend, and gave him a loan for it too.. yeah how sweet deal was it?
When I received my Ibanez untold story book... I just realized it was a rare 540P.
yeah... can't say anymore.

Nearly bought a Jem777DY back in 92 when the market had fallen out of them because of the grunge thing. It was a second hand one in a store, I even beat the guy down to £200 but I didnt buy it as I'd just bought my first house and had a few bills to pay. Really kick myself now though!!

Saw a Jem7PBK too in about 94 going very cheap too but for some reason I didn't buy it, bought one last year though to make up for it! Lol

The Petrucci models. RG Gear. That is about it. I was just a player for many years and not a gear head. It is good to have a nice balance between those two things. I had an RG520 and RG570 for so many years. I would have spent the extra cash to have those nicer models, but I just didn't know about them. In a small town like mine you don't see them hanging on the wall either.

Awesome! I had the blue one of that for a few years. IT was so weird. Everywhere I took it, even music stores, people would ask, "How did you get the blue stuff in the neck?" Uhm... it came that way! LOL! Didn't they reissue these?
