Re: The splatter strats
Daaayummmm!! I keep looking and looking through all the 60's strats, I love them to death but they just don't feel right in my hands, too chunky for my little paws, but I still want another one. I sold my 72
Olympic White
with the maple board about a year ago.

Re: The splatter strats
Come to think of it, are there any good sites for pics of the Bowling Ball Fenders? There were 300 or something? Rare birds...

Mind you, if Fender actually did about 300 of them, that's pretty much the same as most Ibanez swirl runs - the magic swirl number?

Re: The splatter strats
I've got a TacoTele, and it plays good - not great. None of the splatters I've tried have been any good. They are still hanging on the walls in stores here.

Re: The splatter strats
A strat & a
Les Paul
should be classic & beautiful. A PRS should have a very large range of options. A Telecaster should be smashed and burned. The best quote I've heard about a Telecaster is that it "looks like a woodshop project from high school."

Re: The splatter strats
Then you should listen more to
guitar players
like Christian Alsing, and try to figure out what he's playing, based on the sounds.
Oh, and may I add, where the **** did that comment come from?
