VSBL!! You like, or no like???

I've been informed that the VSBL is NOT a desirable Jem model. I happen to disagree I think it's now a quite sought after Jem!

What about you fellow Jemsiters?????


Stock pickguard


Cheap easy mod that I think does wonders for the looks

Considering used ones are going for more than the blowout price when they went out of production, I'd say they are desired by many.

Ever since they first came out, i've liked them. I think they look awesome with a pearloid pickguard too.

I wish they weren't so expensive, i'd love to get me one.

I love it. It's somewhat bland compared to some of the others, though. But nevertheless it's a beautiful guitar.

I like it a lot. I have really been favoring maple boards lately, but the VSBL is a real beauty.

This is a stupid and manipulated poll.

The honest question would be:

If you didnt own any of this jems and for the similar list prices they had what jem would you get:

jem77FP 15th anniversary
jem7VWH
jem7VSBL
jem77BRMR

You need to put the VSBL AGAINST other jems.

BTW that pic is of a customized VSBL. THe pearloid pickguard improves it looks.

The most popular jem is the VWH (which I dont like, but I wouldn mind owing)as sales and production years indicate. The second most popular jem is the jem77FP, and the third most popular jem is the DY.

If you are talking about sought after jems, then:

The DNA is the most sought after jem, followed by the 10th, PMC and GMC, finally the LNG.

All jems are sought after by at least some people and thats why a mint RB, PBK, VBK, VSK, VDY, VSBL, BSB, SK or any other jem produced in low numbers will command a decent price.

The only reason the VSBL did well in that thread is because a lot of jemsiters are new users, and some of those people got them at discount or decent prices. People that have owned several jems for a long time rarely would bother to get in any of those polls. Im making an exception because I dont like facts to be distorted.

Jesus guys, its not that the market tastes have changed in 2 years!!!! That guitar was a discontinued fiasco A COUPLE OF YEARS ago, not 20 years ago!
