What does your EQ settings look like?

Simple as the title says. Coughing out a few numbers wouldn't hurt either.

Mine is usually either midly scooped or mostly flat with a small treble boost, usually around this range:

Bass 5-6
Mid 3-5
Treble 5-7

Of course I play around with the controls a lot, that is still usually the ballpark range.

Re: What does your EQ settings look like?

After recording my heavy crunchy rhythm guitar, usually I use this setting =

Cut bass around 300-400 Hz
Cut mids around 800 Hz
Boost treble around 4000-6000 KHz

Re: What does your EQ settings look like?

For guitar situation it is really amp dependent but on my legacy I do

Presence: 8
Treb: 6.7
Mid: 5.3
Bass: 7

But it also depends on guitar and pickups used.

I like mids. I tend to keep Treble (about 7) a little higher than the bass (6).

Re: What does your EQ settings look like?

Used to have it flat (off) and a mild mid frown for solos.
Now I like it better a bit mid scooped and flat (off) for solos.

Re: What does your EQ settings look like?

Usually flat on the amp. Have a frown on the graphic EQ between guitar and amp for a boost if needed.

Mids good. Not too keen on scooped but that's my preference.

Re: What does your EQ settings look like?

I go a little top end up because of the warmth of the Bartolinis.
Amp is:
bass -3
mid- 3
treble - 6
presence - 5
On the graphic I'm flat until 1.5k/3k where I'm up +2

Re: What does your EQ settings look like?

treble 1 - 2
Mid 3-4
Bass 3-4

I like my sound a bit fusion like these days.

In my rock/metal days is was a slight scoop.

Re: What does your EQ settings look like?

I like my mids scooped, a fair bit of bass and treble slightly higher so i get some clarity.

Treble: 8
Mid: 3
Bass: 7

Re: What does your EQ settings look like?

It's all about mids! Guitar is a mid-range instruments I've never understood why you'd want to cut all the notes out of your sound! Different stokes blah blah.

bass - 5.9
Mids - 8
Treble - 6.5
Resonance-6.3
Presence - 7.1

With the "Bright" switch turned on which boost 2khz by 6db. Which is a fairly big boost. Although It's upper mids not Treble and doesn't brighten up the sound at all but adds more cut/bite.

I'm playing through a 5150 2x12 combo and according to Peavey it has more bass than any other 5150/6505 because it's a closed back cabinet which could contribute to the lower bass setting.
