Re: What is your favourite 'ethnic' food.

I never have tea with Fish and Chips. I drink beer!

I am English/British, so obviously my favourite food is curry. I have had curry in quite a few coutries, and nothing comes close to the British Raj style for me.

I cook a lot, and I guess that I mostly cook more French or Italian/Mediterranean, with a bit of Chinese or Thai. Most Sundays is a full roast though, and there is nothing finer than that.

No, the hottest I ever went was Vindaloo. It is a bit much for me, but whilst I could still taste, it was delicious.

My best mate was in training to get to a phall. Our local curry restaurant (where we were pretty regular) were gradually spicing up is Vindaloos to get him comfortable. I think he was going for a Tindaloo then a Phall. He was advised to eat it on the Friday and not plan anything for the weekend.

Actually the hottest thing I ever had was a Thai Green Curry in the food court of the shopping mall in Queenstown, New Zealand. That was vicious.

I did eat curry for every meal for 2 weeks once.

My Italian grandmothers are spinning in their graves, but mine is Indian and Thai, the spicier the better. I've also been known to make jalapeño sandwiches.

I am totally in love with Chinese food, particularly the noodles, fried rice and dimsum.
