What is your favourite 'ethnic' food.

By ethnic, I mean the food a culture is generally distinguished by.

My favourite is Mexican food. I literally just ate a plate of nachos and I'm also having burritos for supper. If its mexican, I probably love it.

Edit: is there any way edit polls? I forgot to put italian food in.

Re: What is your favourite 'ethnic' food.

Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Thai , Vietnamese and Middle-Eastern.

I guess Jews like me really love oriental food. Everything just needs some habeneros on them to add that extra (ok... a lot of) spiciness.

Re: What is your favourite 'ethnic' food.

It's too funny you put American as the unhealthy food...

I voted for Chinese-Japanese-Asian-English

I LOVE Asian styled foods, spices, and textures. How something can be sweet and yet spicy hot...

Japanese food can be complex and yet simple at the same time. Miso soup for example. I really like sushi as well. Simple in essence yet a complicated art in itself...

English food is another example of simplicity yet unassumingly tasteful. Food in itself is tasty without having to use spices at all...

I also love Irish and Welsh food, being an English/Irish/Welsh mutt...

Correct! The best food in the world can be found in that middle eastern melting pot also known as Cyprus, although it would seem that the McDonalds fast food outlets are taking their toll on the more traditional food outlets. (Cant believe the Greek Cypriots flock to those god awful restaurants when they have so much excellent food on offer elsewhere!)
