What other instruments do you play?

I was just curious if any of you jemsiters play additional instruments other than the guitar. I play the piano as much as the guitar, and I am thinking about picking up the violin.

I will only list basic instruments, so just tell us what you play if it's not on the list.

I used to play the trumpet and was even in my highschool band but gave it up.
It's still collecting dust somewhere in my parents house.

I played clarinet a few years ago, then sax. I gave it all up for piano. Than got tired of it so I went for guitar, and now I play bass. Where do I vote?

as for drums............i think they are as much a valid instrument as anythin, i love great drumming

I play piano (better than I play guitar), and play trumpet on the side. I can also handle a bass (usually screw around with my brother's).

I can play a piano fairly well, but I haven't actually owned one in quite some time. I'd like to get back into it, actually. I think I will when I get certain issues cleared up.

I can also play bass passably, but really have no interest in it so never really pursued it.

I started life as a bassist 25 years ago, switched over to guitar as my primary about 6 or 7 years ago. I can also diddle a bit on keys, and used to play the harp. (The big stand up thing, not the harmonica!) I want to learn the cello. (yea, I'm a bit wierd!)

Of course drums are an instrument!!!!!

I play the cello, its such a cool instrument, the expresivness is just unbelievable, even playing a simple major scale
