What should I replcae these with?
I'm thinking about pulling the EMGs out of the guitar in the picture and replacing them with something passive, but I can't decide whether to go with Creme, black, or Zebra bobbins if I do replace them. So what do you think?
I'm leaning towards Zebra, but the Creme EMGs look so good, I'm considering going double creme.

Why isn't nickel-covered an option?
I'd probably go for that.

Yeah, Gibson laid a bunch of turds lately. The Goddess, the other girl one, the BFG..... but there are 2 new Classics comming out that look promising.

Re: What should I replcae these with?
You guys don't dig the Goddess Gibson?
That's incomprehensible. Don't you just love the colors and the fact that it's smaller and the translucent pickup covers? I'm actually considering to buy one. I saw a big picture of one in a magazine, and it just blew me away. I was like:
. I think they're great.
Kind regards,

Re: What should I replcae these with?
I think that question can be answered with the first sentence. "You GUYS don't dig the GODESS Gibson".
I'm with Ayrton on the Zebra thing, almost every LP I've ever owned got Zebra coils as soon as I got the guitar.

Re: What should I replcae these with?
What EMGs are in there now?
I'd probably go black - it'll balance nicely with the sunburst and the head.
Yamaha's budget range semis (AE500 & SA500) have black pickups and they look quite nice.
