yeah it looks really good i think it's the heaviest wood with very low end...good for 7strngs +

Tonally I think that most of the woods have a place, but visually I care more about the indiviudal piece of lumber rather than the "overall" appearance of "that type" of wood.

There are so many "figured maple guitars" and only a few of them I find interesting to look at.
