I rarely look at tab but when I do, Power tab is what I choose.

Powertabs, but I generally prefer handwritten ones.

Can't go wrong with powertabs. They make it really easy to create your own stuff and it has the actual music right there as well. Even if you don't like listening to the midi, it's still nicer than looking at those basic ASCII tabs that don't tell you anything about timing and dynamics.

My vote goes to Tylenol Gel Tabs. Works faster than plain asprin.

Re: What type of tabs do you use?

I remember when I started playing guitar being disappointed that I couldn't play songs like they sounded after learning the TAB. Then as I got better I realize what complete ****e most ASCII tabs are. I've never used PowerTab but GuitarPro's are usually much better-- I mean, you actually have to listen to the midi when making the tab, so only the most brain dead or deaf people release tabs that beg the question, what are they smoking?

PowerTab, mainly. Never used guitarpro, but I've heard it's pretty good. PowerTab has MIDI too, very good for checking your tabs before uploading them. Also makes for good soundtrack while playing retro games heh.
