What would you do?
Picture this: frequently you go to a certain public place. Like, a library, a movie theatre, a mall or something like that. And there, you very often see someone who works there, or just happens to be there at the same time you are a lot. And this person just catches your eye every time. He/she just emits something that you pick up on, and are attracted to. You'd like to get to know this person.
What would you do?
Would you leave him/her alone? Or would you strike up a conversation?
If you
would
strike up a converstion, what would you say? And if you wouldn't, why not?
I had this experience. I never struck up a conversation, but did see someone who caught my eye everytime.
I think that, striking up a conversation with complete strangers is a tricky business. You risk coming across like a psycho. Or you risk making a complete fool of yourself. But, that's me.
Kind regards,
Myst and rain

Try striking up a conversation..... duh! You already have something in common if you're ending up at the same place frequently! Why don't you people post your ages????? It'd be easier to respond knowing if you're an adult or a 15 yr. old.

Re: What would you do?
Definitely strike up a conversation, if you like or attracted to someone regardless him/her and not trying to get to talk to him means you're a fool, it's better to make a fool of yourself then to let go somebody who you're attracted with or vice versa, who knows that very person is one of the best things happen in your life, so I say just go up there and say hi and try to be yourself

I would definitely strike up a conversation as well, you only live once and having regrets is no fun.

I will be 35 in two weeks, I've passed up so many hot\cute\nice women because of my own insecurities or just because it is hard to do sometimes because of many factors (some of the ones you mentioned as well). Don't waste time, JUST DO IT! You will always regret it if you don't, & the times I have actually opened my mouth and said something, I've had great succcess. Sometimes you will strike out, look like\feel like an idiot, & sometimes have a great conversation and get that persons phone # for a date or just a friendship. Trust me, do it. You will get more comfortable doing it.
Jim, I don't understand the 3029 & 3030, please explain. I felt like you did about the big 3 0. Just to let you know, I've had more dates\women, fun, & just pure satisfaction from my 30's (5 full yrs.) than I did in a decade in my 20's. Not that my 20's were bad, cuz they weren't, they were great. Don't fret it. Your 30's will probably be better too.

I did. No disrespect, but if you need to come on here and ask if you should talk to someone you are attracted to or not, then don't bother, you wouldn't know what to say if you did.
Or it could be because I recently watched this...
