Re: Who makes effect better
Kinda tricky, cause I've never played effects made by all of these manufacturers.
But I've got a Boss
multi effects pedal
, which I've owned for like a decade and it still work as well as when I just got it. The delays are great, the distortion nice and warm sounding... The only thing I kind of dislike is that the delays get cut off as soon as you switch to another programmed sound.
And the I've tried a Boss PS-5 once, and the harmonisation was phenomonal. Very clear. Wonderful pedal.
Now the harmisation options on my
Digitech whammy
sound kind of muddy compared to the Boss. Maybe it's designed that way, but you don't really hear two individual voices coming out of the speaker but one blurb of a harmony thing, IMO.
So based on my experiences I chose Boss in the poll.

. Reason: Typo (phenomanal). Added IMO.

Re: Who makes effect better
I guess Boss overall for pedals, although there are individual pedals made by other companies I like much better.

Re: Who makes effect better
The dunlop choice isn't really accurate, in that most of their effects were made by someone else 1st and they just bought them out.
TC Electronic, Eventide, and ZVEX are a few that stand out for me.

I voted EH because their pedals are more up my alley.

Re: Who makes effect better
Sorry, have to go with the tried and trusted. Boss.
Although their newer pedals haven't been as good as the older ones that I have tried.

Cool, Newbie. Here's a pic I found on the internet of my unit. It works like a charm.
