Re: Your #1 DT album

I voted for I&W, I think it's the most complete album. Awake had some great tracks on it, and I really love some of the ones from when dream and Day unite too (much to my shame).

My favourite track though is JP's solo off the live in Tokyo concert. I think it's called Moon Bubbles.

Re: Your #1 DT album

Iīve voted Scenes because I HATE it for one reason: When I put it on my CD-player I canīt stop it untill it ends!!!! The music wants you to keep listening to. I donīt know if I had choosen Images or Awake for the second place.

Re: Your #1 DT album

Toss up between the 1st 6 albums (including ACOS)
The remaining trinity of poop is excluded IMO.
I think if I were to narrow it down, I'd say I&W and SFAM should be my top 2 and couldn't be divided.

Re: Your #1 DT album

I&W for me too... That was the first DT album I heard. I believe I was 14, and was just blown away by it. I think I may have heard it before P&W, and remember it being just mind blowing.

My favorite song has and always will be Take The Time. Those guys really knew how to put a good CD together. I liked more of their earlier stuff... Scenes from a Memory was the last one I really liked. Everything else thus far kinda makes me cry.

Re: Your #1 DT album

Wow...tough tough decision! I would put most of their albums at #1 , but...it's between Images and Words, SFAM or TOT.

Why to your shame? That CD rocks. I think it has a lot of energy, even though the production sounds rather dated.

Re: Your #1 DT album

I'm partial to SFAM, I really got into the whole story line. The album was really well thought out and contained great songs. The addition of Jordan Rudess was their best personel move. "Home" is probably my favorite DT song. Next would be Awake, then tie between I&W and TOT, followed by 6DOIT.

Re: Your #1 DT album

I never quite understood why people love IAW so much. I mean it's not bad but I find it almost offending that it's beating such masterpieces as Awake and SFAM........

Re: Your #1 DT album

I don't care what anyone says (duh! ) but I like 6DOIT best. I like something about all their albums, but I like this one best. And I am totally digging the title track on the new album. Today, as in right this second, Octavarium is my favorite DT song.

Re: Your #1 DT album

Hey I was reading this poll the other day and then say Awake was #1 so I got it today and I love it, i'm going to get Scenes from a Memory and Images and Words sometime soon. This is my first DT album and I was wondering what everyone thinks John Pertrucci's best solo album is as I'm thinking to get one of his solo albums aswell.
