Today I have 90% of the work done on a body.
It is the same as a GMC body, without the paint.
I took my pink JEM apart and used my RG770 for the
rest of the templates to make it.
I did something total different with the wood.
The upper half is Oak and the lower half is Ash.
I already fit the neck and bridge.
I just need to do the final sanding on it.
I also routed the body to use other trems as well as the Edge and Lo Pro Edge.
You can't see the difference without taking the trem out.
I've learned a lot from this first one and the next ones will be coming much fast after this.
I am very excited!

Good project. Let me know how that oak, ash body turns out. Never heard that combination before. And pics...
