That was 3 of us getting together. JD couldn't make it [rat bastid] or we would have had the full 10% in the shot. I think the 3 of us together only have 10 still [maybe 11].

White spots like that are usually tiny bubbles in the paint - so as the paint goes on you get a little bubble which you can then wipe off after the paint's dry leaving a tiny round hole in the paint showing the white primer underneath. I haven't totally figured out why they happen yet - it could be a speck of dust on the guitar before the paint goes on which causes the paint to pull back from it into a bubble. But I've also had some guitar bodies that seem to get more bubbles even when stripped back and swirled again (so lots of bubbles on two swirls on the same body), whilst other bodies have no bubbles. Sometimes they only happen in one colour (with the DNA's they seem to be mainly in the black) which seems to happen if one colour is a bit thicker than the others. I like the bubbles; they add more interest to the pattern.

that was kinda the point i guess - to show that there are soooo many nice ones. there are some that aren't as nice but that really comes down to personal taste.
i like his swirl - it has a nice balance and some darker colors.
