1987 777SK: How do I Know its Value?

Hello;

Please see http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...ontInCase1.jpg

This guitar, S/N: 870517, has been tucked away for about 10+ years. I'm thinking its time to sell. Are there any good resources out there that will help me determine its value?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Kevin

It's only worth about £40, maybe £45. But I'm in the UK so If you'll be willing to organise, and pay for the shipping, I'll send you £150 by Paypal right now.

My favourite Jem

I reckon that's worth around £1800 here in the UK?

Bottom line is that in these days of global commerce things are worth what they fetch on auction for the most part. So, your best bet is to look around for one on places like gbase to see what stores ask for them, and in recently ended auctions. She's quite a looker though!

That is NICE. Bank on £1600 easily, but could fetch up to 2 grand sterling.

Re: 1987 777SK: How do I Know its Value?

personally, i would throw you about $2000 for it. I bought mine for $1500 but yours is in amazing condition. if i were you i would hold onto it. but if you need the cash, throw it up on an auction site and watch the bids come in, but be sure to pm me a link to the auction so i can have a chance at it!

I hate to say it, but that thing in that condition will bring at least $2,000 on the bay. Start that bad boy off at $.99 and watch the auction go nuts!

Damn. That's a beauty. Great example you have there. Should get a very nice price but I think you're nuts for even considering selling it. I would pay £2000 for that mother. Only thing is I'd be terrified of putting any wear on it.

My advice -- sell it to a UK buyer, you'll make more money. $2000 USD would be an insult.
