1990 JEM FP score!

Hey guys, I've been really busy for a awhile but I thought I would pass on some good news. I was in Manhattan this week on vacation and was hitting all of the guitar stores and scored a super clean JEMFP from 30th Street Guitars at a fantastic price. Great guys to deal with there. I'll post pictures when I get a chance. Hope everyones been doing ok!

I was actually looking for a PRS 24 fret custom. It was over mixed in with a bunch of off the wall stuff in a corner when I saw it. Once I saw the price it was all over but the subway ride home. It doesn't have a single mark of any kind on it and the knobs are pristine with no wear. The only flaws are that the pick-ups are faded, but that is fairly common and it has a beater case. Here's a phot with my 88 (in the pink case).

I played the guitar you bought. I was in 30th street a couple of weeks ago. Did you pay $1500? It is a nice guitar, enjoy. I don't have the same opinion of the store and the sevice as you do, but to each his own.

WOW,,that is sweet! Love the big leaf on the bottom. Are you planning on changing the pickups to restore the color, or just leaving it be?

It was tagged at $1500 but I was able to get a much, much better deal by using cash. I usually hit them every couple of months or so. Matt is always cool, but I can see where some of the others are a little annoying. I've definately seen some over priced stuff there also. What part about it don't you like?

I'm not touching a thing! I replaced the pick-ups on my 88' and it wasn't really worth it to me. I'm just enjoying playing them.
