3D model of JEM - few old files

Found these on my hard disk. The model is not very accurate, especially the AANJ and the headstock joint are pretty bad. There are also visible angles on the edges of the body:

(MPEG4 or DivX, can't remember)

(another experiment)

This is the guitar (mine ) that was used as the real life model:

Thank's for your kind words I'm actually planning to do a new model, but don't expect anything soon. It's very time consuming and I'm supposed to play the thing also (not to mention my studies, my work and my social life).

It should be easy to visualize different color schemes, inlays etc. with a properly done model. The current model was my first major modeling effort so it has many serious flaws (like badly assigned surfaces, which makes trying different combinations real pain, leave alone the tuning pegs, which consist of ~5000 polygons each. It was a major screw up that I didn't bother to correct so that model really clogs up my computers 384 megs of RAM).

I'll be back should I manage to actually do something.

Oh yes, that Fender strap... It is from the time that I actually considered American made guitars to be cool I had a Gibson LP Studio back then. I haven't seen any JEM-worthy straps around here in Finland so far.

Then my lad it is of utmost importance that you take yourself off to http://www.dimarzio.com this very day. *Don't forget to pick up toothpicks at the local superstore too.

[mumble]
BSB on a Fender strap indeed, in my day there'd have been a lynching etc.

Pekka, I'm sure you have been to Levytukku in Helsinki right? You'll find a JEM-worthy strap there.
Keep up the good work!

Yes, that's where I bought my guitar also. And I know about the straps, that was just a bad attempt to get out of embarassing situation easily

Actually I'm going to keep my strap, it has served me well for 6 or 7 yeras already

Actually, my BSB hangs from a Fender strap as well. *It's seafoam green...goes great with the BSB finish!

I could never buy anything with the word 'seafoam' in it. It just sounds wrong!
