777vbk bridge + colors

Quick question... Which color edge is this axe supposed to come stock with? I heard "cosmo" but I have heard of like.... black cosmo, and silver cosmo... I dont even know if there are 2 cosmos or someone just got them mixed up? Can anybody name all the colors that edges came in, and clear this up for me? and who knows what color the 777vbk came with? Black Cosmo? Silver cosmo? chrome?

Cosmo is neither black nor silver/chrome, it's kinda in-between. VBK came with Cosmo, I'm almost 200% sure.

Edges have been produced in black, gold, chrome, vintage silver, powder cosmo, and probably several other finishes.

Re: 777vbk bridge + colors

The VBK had "Cosmo Black" hardware

There is only this one version of cosmo - for the whole

If you check any Ibanez part numbers for hardware, the last letter (or two) will depict the colour

K= Cosmo Black
B= Black
G= Gold
PN= Powder Nickel
PC= Powder Cosmo

They do also do a non shiny/satin cosmo finish = Powder cosmo, but you'll only find this on newer 2000 plus guitars(i think)

Interesting that cosmo=K but Powder cosmo=PC and not PK

If it's an '89 or '90 then it would probably have been an Edge. If its a '91 then probably a LoPro.

If it is a '91 what makes you think the trem is not original?
