I've got one too.
Serial Number F9805726
Bought in Tokyo.
Excellent guitar, sucky pickguard.
Anyone with polishes to recommend?

It's on the guitar and was touched, so yes, there is plenty wrong with it. Don't ever think it'll just clean and polish until after you get done trying to clean and polish

Re: 90HAM LOCATION and ACTUAL NUMBER of copies
Rich do you have any pointers on how I should go about removing the tarnish from the pickguard?
I've tried polishing compounds such as Autosol and other chrome/metal polishes by hand. I'm contemplating polishing my guard by means of a buffing wheel.
Either that or getting a new one in stainless steel.
Thanks!

Thanks Rich!
Anyways I just emailed a local stainless steel shop, hopefully my pickguard woes will be solved when they reply!

Re: 90HAM LOCATION and ACTUAL NUMBER of copies
I remember a notice from Jemsite not to post stuff like this some years back...

Re: 90HAM LOCATION and ACTUAL NUMBER of copies
I know, I think you have started hanging out at the same car forum too
I'm not sure why we shouldn't post this, other than perhaps 'guitar identity theft' ?
