A fake JEM or not?

Hi jemsite fellas. I'm after this guitar on the evil bay: http://cgi.****.com.au/Ibanez-JEM-Cu...d=p3286.c0.m14 (item number 300342272838 ) . It looks nice and authentic to me except that it doesn't have a serial number on the back of the head stock. Would this be a fake? Thanks for any suggestions!

No, it's not a real PMC. Just a copy that someone built, but he says he used Ibanez and Dimarzio parts. That's not a PMC neck for sure, the AANJ should have given it away, the pyramids are a slightly different color, that said, the neck does look nice though.

I've seen nice Nate Perle swirls, but this isn't one of them.

I for one think it looks pretty damn nice. I like the neck alot. Wonder who made it. The swirl isn't bad either.

its no ibanez...the neck and body are not factory ibanez but replacement parts.but the other parts are ibanez /dimarzio.it can be a very nice guitar thats for sure.but not a real JEM.

The neck looks really cool except for the fact that the builder used way too large a router bit and ended up with circles at all the points on the pyramids.

Thanks guys for the words. The seller's currently out of town. I'll demo the guitar when he comes back and let you all know how it plays. Despite the fact that it's not a real Jem, I still believe it plays beautifully.
