AMERI-JEM911USA is COMPLETE! ready for the 4th of July =o)

I can't believe it, it's finally done, it plays amazingly!!!! the only things I need to do is get a different color switch tip, and get a 43mm locknut . I CAN"T BELIEVE IT"S DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll take some new pics of it in the sunlight tomorrow, can't get decent pics of it in the house, so better pics will be up tomorrow !!!!!!!!

Now, for some thank you's to the people that helped make it happen

Eddie Kolesar at EKG for the Mahogany body (which incidentally sounds way brighter than the Alder VWH bodies)

Darren Johansen at About time designs for the kick ass swirl!

Jon Rayl at Guitar Center Minneapolis for the Pickups

Butch Slusher for the Trem

and of course the USA for the inspiration. My true dream is still to live there, I only hope it comes true one day soon

Jeremy

I look at the guitar as a work of art, and in keeping with any good artwork, it is going to invoke different emotions and feelings in everyone. I applaud Jeremy on his efforts, and feel that if it becomes the subject of debate, then it has served it's purpose. P.S. Jeremy is Canadian, would you feel better if it had a Canadian theme??? Good on ya, Jeremy I think it is wonderful artistic vision.

yeah, which is dead, and the finish isn't that anymore anyway. I figured, since it's actually looking like this thing will get finished now, I'd do one thread, from start to finish.

Well said mate. This is a guitar, If LGM wants to make a guitar to commemorate his lost friends thats his choice and its not for people to judge. I live outside the US and look in at whats gone on and feel nothing but sympathy, anything to help us celebrate 2 lives is worthwile. great job dude.

OK, like Rich said, this is not political, so I've chopped and changed and deleted and editted. Let's keep the topic open and the discussion guitar related guys
