Re: any way of temporarely blocking a Jem Edge easily?

The tremol-no is probably a good solution, but the guy just wants it down temporarily...not full time.

So I think blocking may be the way to go if he doesn't plan on going back and forth often, because $65 is quite a bit if you are only using its main feature once.

Though I have been thinking of getting one for my UV so I can tune to drop A..

I used a metal plate to lock one of my JS's trims down, dont move an inch and costed $0. Broke a string and dont go out of tune. I have a Trem-no on my other JS and it isnt as stable and my other setup.

I just got my Tremol-No today. This one is from the second batch and it's supposed to be an improvement. I will post when I have it installed.

Just installed it and it works great. I knew about the issues with the first batch and they seem to have worked out the issues.
