Authentic 7VWH serial numbers?

Can anyone tell me if the 7VWH 2006 /2007s serials start with "F06"?

They overlap sometimes, a guitar may be produced in december and sold in Febuary as an '07 guitar but it will have the F06 serial.

The neck and the body are made seperately (obviously) so the neck could've been made in '06 and the body in '07 so you would have an '06 serial # and the guitar not stocked/shipped until '07.

You are correct as to how to read the #, being the first two digits denote the year. The F also stands for the Fujiyen (sp?) factory in Japan.

Serial numbers are put on the parts when they are produced, not when the guitar is put together. My previous post says a little about that (kinda).
