Authentic JEM vs JEM's From China

has anyone actually tried both? the ones from china are like $2k less but if the quality is the same why not? what are your thoughts?

they are complete an utter Garbage. I have heard the horror stories and have seen a few in person. They are good for firewood

what exactly is bad about them?is it the sound? or the materials used to make them? in the pictures you cant really tell much of difference.

They are the same guitar, cant you tell by looking at them? The Chinese company is just a really great company that wants to make the Jem affordable for everybody so they make a top quality instrument then sell it for 99 cents and charge $400 to ship it.

Would you compare banging Jessica Alba to masturbating with a cheese grater and ask what the difference is?

I had a chibanez copy and it was Without a doubt the worst thing in the world, it looked the same, all the parts looked the same even the monkey grip looked in proportion (many don't). Within two hours of having it I was crying in to my beer as i'd parted with £150. Put it this way, when I went to tune it, two of the strings came out of the "overlord of music" edge trem copy. It didn't matter how tight the block was.

Utter, plain and simple rubbish!!!!!!

everything is different except the design of the chinese ones are to look sorta like the real ones so stupid ppl buy them thinking there is no diff

Just right now there's a Chibanez on evilbay.it for sale. Current bid is 441€, 7 days left.... I just mailed him that this is not the real deal and informed the highest bidder and additional the italian Ibanez distributor. I hope this will help somehow.
