Backstop... tremol-no...

I use both, I have the tremol-no on 2 of my rg550's and bought an ESP arming adjust from Rich at Ibanez rules for my RG770. I like the arming adjust if you set it tight you can still pull up (albeit with a bit more force) and i have mine adjusted enough so if I snap a string it will stay in tune. The main difference would be if you do bends and hit an open string at the same time then the tremol-no is the way to go. My only warning is I had my tremol-no locked in to hardtail mode and without thinking tried a dive which it partially did but stayed in the dive position... I love both products though

ZR trems come with backstops and I have to say they help!
However I would think it wouldnt be too hard to make one, just look at some pictures, if you have an S take it out and look at it, get the dimensions, materials etc and pow. You have one.
