Behold the Jemulator - Custom build your own JEM online

Let the might of your imagination arise to bring a quick end to the flowing stream of blood and tears about the new Blue Jem

As predicted, there's been a million and one posts about what the new blue Jem could or should have looked like. *

Please hear my anguished words of truth - fret no more, the Jemulator has (almost) landed.

Have a look at... http://www.adrianfoden.freeserve.co....or/default.htm

Let this bring an ocean of measureless qualities in an ocean of joy.

Seriously folks, it's just a proof-of-concept. Please post your thoughts, ideas and contributions about giving birth to a Jemulator - I just might do it!

Cool idea.

Any plans on including a colour choice for the vine?

Adrian, you just so rock! This would be Soooooooo much fun and usefull! I can see all the mod-heads here using that page regularly to mock up ideas before having to go to the bandsaw.

My suggestions:

(1) Lots more body color choices!

(2) The ability to upload and use a picture for the body and/or background.

(3) Have it spit out a blue print of the body, listing the hardware, color choices etc, at the end (maybe have them click a button for if they want it or not). You could find a blueprint for the original Jem and use it as the main picture and have your CGI/PHP add the list at the bottom. The user can then save it, print it and either build it him/herself or take it to a builder to have it done. This would save a lot of time and energy for us.

Admittedly, this may be much more complicated then you were wanting to go but it would be cool to have these options.

That is way cool! Add things like swirls, burnt bodies and all the jem finishes, neck inlay types and all that and it'll be fantastic!

Pretty jem pictures and a good idea of what stuff would look like if you "just changed stuff a little bit"

Excellent!

Great idea! Throw in a few more choices for the pickguard, especially blue... and I could create my dream ax! --rvj
