best choice for a left handed player?

yeah so a few days ago i found myself in love with the 7VWH and was all hyped up to buy one, then realised they didnt come in left handed (being left handed is so painful when you want a new guitar!) so i sulked for a while then looked around and found out the 555 came in left... buuuuttt after looking around these forums for a little while the impression of the 555 i got wasnt exactly great.. a friend advised me to get a RG1570 prestige which comes in left handed but i dont really like the look, what ever should i do! if the RG1570 is that much better than the 555 id look past the appearance....but really is there a better looking guitar than the steve vai jems.

what do you guys think of the 555 compared to the RG1570?

1570 will be better than the 555........providing you get lucky and get one without factory defects.......if you can afford to buy one from rich of ibanez rules and pay the extra for him to set it up.then you will have a great guitar.

your other route it to build one using warmoth parts

ohh ok thanks heaps. well yeah i checked on ibanezrules and they dont stock any left handed guitars..i asked him about ordering them in though. i havent heard a reply as of yet. do the rgs often have factory defects?

last time i checked rich had a black one and everyone seems to love his setup he does to them.........if he doesnt have one drumcity has a blue one.......not all the rgs have defects...its hit or miss...but from what i have read.quality has gone down hill somewhat.......either way the 1570 is a great foundation for a great guitar...kinda sucks being a lefty.not many choices for us

oh ok well apparantly the 555 doesnt even come in left handed according to australis music... so i guess its the rg haha thanks guys
