Black & White swirl done!
I guess this deserves a thread of it's own
Sorry for bad pics. Those were taken right after dipping and there's still some water drops in there. Quite happy with the result. In some pics you may see a test body shape I dipped in before.
What do you think? Two paint drops there but not so bad, I guess.

EDIT: And the other side of the first test. It was already swirled with black, yellow and light blue.
I just painted white the other side of it. Quite interesting it became..

Double swirling? Now you are talking.
I like it even if it does have too much black

Well, I was lazy. First I swirled that piece of wood with those blue, black and yellow and didn't turn out so well. I sanded one side and painted it just white and dipped the whole thing in the black/white bucket.

Re: Black & White swirl done!
Thanks! It took quite many tests with dipping to get 'em look even close to right. Gotta find something else to swirl and try multiple colours.
I'm just a bit concerned about the water drops. I've read here that a hairdryer (or a like) is good for getting rid of them. Didn't have anything at hand so I just left it dry naturally.
Anyway, today I'll go and see what it looks like now and start clearcoating it.

Re: Black & White swirl done!
I've started clearcoating the guitar now. Just one mistake, the clear coat ain't gonna be so clear, but the whites are turning to something between cream and white and yellow. Looks quite cool, though!
Should've studied and tested more about those liquids. You always learn new things...
