Black Jem Accessories , etc

Hi

Im going to buy my dad this black jem (77v) for christmas, but hes always told me he loves it except he thinks the mirror pickguard is a bit tacky...

I found this pic on the forum, and this is EXACTLY how I want to make his jem look.

I just dont know where to go to get replacement pickguard (black with the white stripe edge) ..... and the replacement knobs and toggle ...any suggestions?

Also....What about the pickups..black ones come with the jem so Im assuming the only way to make them white is to buy white ones.... Does anyone know if ibanez or someone will swap them out.....

Ibanez won't do it. I'd be happy to but the guards are on order and not in stock. You'd have to buy the humbuckers and single cover, and the knobs and tip. You get all the original parts also.

your best bet is to have rich do it you wont get a nicer instrument or a better business man to deal with.

Just make sure the humbucker pole screws match the black and white look, ie not gold. I know it's a small detail but if you're going to do it, go all the way.

AGREED! As soon as i saw the picture those poles stabbed me in the eye! But yeah,very cool and exactly what i would do with one.
