Bought a swirl body E**** - what next???

Hello,

Swirls are very very new to me, I have bought the following body from the bay, hope to raid the guts of an exitsing 550 for the low pro, pickups and tuners, however neck wise I have nothing lined up so far.:

260195497170 - yeh yeh, 89 and ANNJ, has to be total jackanory, but it's a square enought body.........

So...open to suggestions, which neck would you pair with the hardwear and body (it's tone zone/ PAFS, and low pro)?????

Any sugestions welcome, this one is for playing not keeping in the case!

Thanks in advance Jemsiters, Ian

Thanks Zoot, hopefully it does acually comply to specification and hardwear fit!, otherwise it's router time and paint off!!

Initially it's off to Max C for a clearcoat, the neck however, I'm not sure wht to get??

Does this warrant a DNA or pyramids??

Any thoughts??

Ian

Please dont take the paint off , theres always another way like OFR etc .
A DNA neck is always going to be costly and as its going to be a player i'd go for pyramids or vine or even an RG neck.

Does it have a clear coat , I never noticed ?

I'd say first off: Cool! Congratulations!

I'd work with that finish and get it clearcoated and get a cool neck (pyramids or coloured inlays) to keep it flashy. Add all the finer the Ibanez-type traits to keep it as real as you can and then go kick some booty in the clubs rockin' out.
