Bridge Knife Edge Question

I've had this 7VWH for a little less than 2 years now. I noticed sometime back that the bridge is sitting at a slight angle. The playability is superb and I have zero tuning issues, but I'm just wondering if this is something that needs to be addressed. The edge of the bridge that sits in the post at the 6th string (big E) only goes into the post a slight amount, but the one at the 1st string sits in the post a much greater amount. What's up? I haven't seen this on other JEM's or guitars in the stores. Sorry for the photo quality. My camera simply won't do any better.

Re: Bridge Knife Edge Question

the one one the high E side is a curved knife edge, your bridge is fine. I wish I could afford a JEM

It's from wear and tear, it's why Vai replaces his trems every so often.

Re: Bridge Knife Edge Question

Thanks. I was just wondering if it was going to go flying across the room one day if I didn't do something.

Guess it's nothing to be awefully worried about other than the exquisite amount of money required to change these things out one day!

Re: Bridge Knife Edge Question

Kinda neat to see this post, as my 3120 lopro looks the same. I was worried about it even though there was no discernible problem with tuning and intonation. Nice to know that it is in fact all right.
