Re: Building a JEM RPG by RafaPG
Well, I have a "beta" design for an ibanez 3+3 headstock. Check it up, maybe the spacing in the left side must be higher, that does not bother me, still it is a hand-made drawing, not the definitive.
Best regards.
RafaPG.
PD. I'm translating my web to english, It's almost done, but I must actualize it with my new jobs, when it's ready I will tell you, If you know spanish you can visit the spanish part which is actualized each week.

The bridge
Yeah! A lot of spanish speakers "Un gran saludo para todos" (a big salute to everyone).
Here is the edge i'm gonna install, I adquired it from a jemsite forum user. Needs cleaning and a piece ( i have more edges).
Best regards.

Re: Building a JEM RPG by RafaPG
It looks very much but, but i think mine is smaller and the tuning keys are in opposite order, you can see that.
Here is version 8 of the drawing.
This looks very much to the behaviour, but the strings fit better I think, this is the one i'm gonna test.
PD. I doesn't care if it seems to another headstock, anyway we usually copy original ibanez and nobody cares!
Best regards.

Re: Building a JEM RPG by RafaPG
I've beeen looking through the net, I've found this headstock. I cannot find that
paul gilbert
guitar anywhere. Maybe I'm looking in the bad way, I need a front pic to get the headsotck well, I'll keep searching.
Big idea Danijem, I'm gonna make it that way, looks better than mine and is a bit bigger, giving more that ibanez touch.
Best regards.
Rafa.

Re: Building a JEM RPG by RafaPG
Oh my god I had the image up in the post, well, check this up.
Paul Gilbert / Ibanez Ghostrider / my design.
It seems Paul gilbert's one will fill better ehan playing open chord, but it's a bit exagerated, I think, well, let's see, It's not a easy decision. Make thinks for a while, I shalll print this, as well I make hand-made drawings of the other headstock and keep then in my files.
Best regards.
Rafa.
